Story Cubes

We will create our own story cubes with characters, objects, and places of your choosing! You can then use these creative cubes as cues to tell many, many stories. For grades K-2, adult assistance may be necessary. Registration required. Questions? Email winchild@minlib.

Strawberry Pops

Mark your calendars and join us for one of the sweetest traditions of the year—the Annual Strawberry Pops! Featuring performances by the high school band, strings, jazz band, and chorus. All are welcome! Free admission, donations appreciated; strawberry shortcakes are $5.
 

Strawberry Pops

An annual end-of-year celebration of the Winchester HS music program, sponsored by the  WHS Music Department and Friends of Music. Featuring performances by the WHS Band, Strings and Chorus. Strawberry shortcake served at 6 pm, program begins at 6:30 pm. Join us for terrific music and delicious dessert! All are welcome, free admission; donations are appreciated.

String Honors Concert

Join us for a special concert featuring selected students from the WCMS String Department, as we recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of some of our most talented and dedicated string students.
This concert will be presented both live in Nichols Performance Hall and via livestream on the WCMS YouTube channel.

Sugaring @ Wright-Locke Farm

Elementary School Kids and their families, join us at Wright-Locke Farm for a lesson on sugaring! We'll learn how tree sap becomes maple syrup, and enjoy an easy guided walk around the farm property . Registration is required! We'll be meeting at the the All Seasons Barn at Wright-Locke Farm, located at 82 Ridge Street Winchester, Ma 01890.

Summer Exhibitions | Artist Reception in Winchester

Happy Summer! The Griffin is excited to celebrate our many exhibitions on view with a special artist reception on July 11th.

Join us in person from 6 to 8pm to celebrate the curators and artists from The 31st Annual Juried Members Exhibition, The 15th Annual Photobook and Handmade Photobook Exhibitions, as well as Alina Saranti and Tony Loreti.

Be at the museum to celebrate all of the talented artists that are part of our amazing photo community!

Summer Piano Festival Auditions

Summer Piano Festival 2025: Monday, July 7 - Friday, July 11, 9:00-3:00 PM daily
For ages 8-14. Join us for five days of activities designed to bring pianists together in a fun, interactive piano ensemble program. Participants enjoy the social aspects of playing in an ensemble with one another, as well as learning the skills to play in a small group.
Auditions are being held May 1, 2, and 3.
