In honor of MLK Day in 2025, and after a performance by True Story Theater on 1/26/25, this is a follow up workshop from 6-8 pm at the Griffin Museum of Photography.

These were some of the comments shared after the True Story Theater interactive performance held on Sunday, January 26. Five brave tellers shared moving stories of standing up for others that were played back by the extremely talented troupe to an audience to about 50 people. You could feel the energy in the room which lasted beyond the show as audience members mingled and reflected on the experience.
Part 2 of this program is open to everyone and is an opportunity for all of us to practice standing up or speaking up for others, in a True Story-led
We will create our own story cubes with characters, objects, and places of your choosing! You can then use these creative cubes as cues to tell many, many stories. For grades K-2, adult assistance may be necessary. Registration required. Questions? Email winchild@minlib.

The Griffin Museum is pleased to present an afternoon with photographer Susan Weiss, the creative artist behind her new monograph, The Orchard.
Join us on Saturday, March 15th, starting at 2.30pm at the museum in Winchester for a presentation by Weiss, with a book signing following the talk. Books will be on hand for purchase at this event. THE ORCHARD is the photographic study, created in an abstract manner, of an apple orchard in Vermont.
