HYBRID: Korean Heritage Symposium: Moon Jar

A Korean Moon Jar (달항아리) or a White Porcelain Jar (백자대호), is one of Korean symbols with it purity and simplicity. From Korea's Joseon Dynasty, they were prized for elegance, reflecting Confucian ideals of modesty and nature. It is often crafted in two separate halves joined together showing slight variations and unique characters, unlike flawless ceramics.
