Elementary School Kids and their families, join us at Wright-Locke Farm to greet the farm goats! We'll learn all about them, shear some goat stories, and enjoy an easy guided walk around the farm property . Registration is required! As part of the Griffin Terrace Series, Arts Winchester presents a summer beer garden with live music performed by Glenn Dickson and the Shirim Klezmer Orchestra.
Shirim has played concerts and festivals across the United States, Canada and Europe since 1982. Nationally recognized for their traditional playing, they are also known for their pioneering crossover projects: Klezmer Nutcracker, Maurice Sendak's Pincus, and The Golden Dreydl (with Ellen Kushner). They have performed with the Philadelphia Pops Orchestra, at the Montreal Jazz Festival and at Lincoln Center!

Join us on the Griffin Terrace for a warm up session and march over to the Winchester Common for an afternoon of a blast of brass! Bring your brass instrument to the party and play with the band as music fills downtown Winchester.
Be at the Griffin Museum Sunday August 24th starting at 2.30pm. Meet other Honkers, warm up and play on our Griffin Rotary Terrace until 4pm then march down Shore Road to Winchester Common for a performance on the Green.

Right Hand Mechanics: Guitar Clinic with Hayes Griffin
This 90-minute workshop is for any guitarist who wants to gain better control and fluency in flat-pick playing. Guest clinician Hayes Griffin will help participants to:
• Better control your picking hand
• Gain control when playing awkward string skips
• Gain fluidity at a variety of tempos
• Build techniques for better tone
• Learn how to practice to affirm good picking technique
Open to intermediate and advanced guitar players ages 13+. Please bring your guitar and a flat pick!
