Intro to Steel Drums Workshop (Adult)

Are you interested in trying Steel Drums (also known as Steel Pans)?
Join WCMS's Laurie Russell and Sara McCabe for a fun and relaxed workshop at the Winchester Recreation Department. You'll learn about the history of these incredible instruments from Trinidad and Tobago, receive instruction on how to play, and learn a new song together each session. You can attend any workshop or join all three. No musical background is required.

Adult Workshop (ages 18+): 7:30-8:30 PM, with optional guided practice 8:30-8:50 PM

Dates: October 16 (FULL), October 30 (FULL), and November 13
Tuition: $50

Introduction to SoulCollage® Workshop

Live in-person from the stunning Ripley Chapel at First Congregational Church, Winchester. Jane Ring Frank, certified SoulCollage® facilitator, will guide a morning of creative, spiritual practice.

SoulCollage® is a collage process for accessing your intuitive wisdom. Even though this is an art project, it is accessible, and anyone can do it. You don't need to be an artist to create beautiful SoulCollage® cards with rich meaning and messages for your life.

All materials and direction are included to inspire your creative journey. Using scissors, glue, images, photos, and 8 X 5 mat board

You'll learn ways to develop your child's early literacy skills, and we'll leave a little time at the end of each session for participants to chat with each other.
