Chinese New Year celebration

An annual festival for the Chinese New Year for the people in Winchester, organized and hosted by Winchester School of Chinese Culture (WSCC) for nearly 20 years and now run by a sister organization, Renaissance Chinese Culture Association (RCCA). It includes music, dancing, readings, and other festivities for children and adults. All are welcome, with no admission charge!

Clarinet Master Class with guest Rane Moore

In this 90-minute master class, guest clinician Rane Moore will work with participants to develop their technical skills in the service of furthering their musical expression. Players will be curated by the clarinet faculty, but all clarinet students ages 12+ are welcome to attend and observe.
Clarinetist Rane Moore is sought after as both a performer and an educator. Currently she is on faculty at the Longy School of Music and Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Moore is also principal clarinetist of the Boston Philharmonic and Boston Landmarks Orchestra; performs with local ensembles including

Coding is a series of commands that help a computer complete a task. Now you are the computer! Follow the directions on the signs to complete the course. Read carefully, as there are some loops, variables, and conditionals along the way. Have fun! Drop in, no registration required.

Collector's Eye | A Conversation and Book Signing with Frazier King

The Griffin Museum is pleased to present an afternoon of conversation with artist and collector Frazier King and Griffin Museum's Executive Director Crista Dix. The pair will talk about collaborating with artists, supporting careers through collecting, finding your vision and living with works you love. Frazier worked with Schilt Publishing to create a book featuring many of the works in his collection.
