Broadway On Highland

Please note: Broadway on Highland is open only to WCMS singers and their invited guests.

Come support our talented singers and join in with the audience for the sing-along numbers. Broadway on Highland is a wonderful showcase for our voice students and a delightful evening for all!

Performers should arrive at 6:30 PM on the day of the event to run through their piece once with an accompanist.

Guidelines for Performers:

You don't need to be memorized, but your selection should be well-prepared.
Bring your sheet music in a binder (no loose sheets, lead or lyric sheets).

Buildwave: Hands on Building (Grade 3-5)

A building event that feels like a gameshow! During the program, kids in 3rd-5th Grade build with waves of diverse materials like Lego®, Plus-Plus®, and more. Each building wave is enhanced by a dynamic audiovisual experience unlike any other. As kids complete wave after wave of building, they gain creative confidence, enhance teamwork, and experience design fundamentals in a unique and memorable context.

Winchester High School's spring musical is Bye Bye Birdie, a classic, lighthearted satire of the music industry (and Elvis Pressley) that won four Tony Awards. Teen idol Conrad Birdie is drafted into the Army, but before he leaves, he’ll perform a new song on The Ed Sullivan Show and give one last kiss to a lucky fan. Performances March 7, 8, and 9. General admission: $20, students are $10—cash or check only.
