Artist Reception | Richards Family Prize and Arnold Newman Prize

The Griffin Museum is pleased to host an artist reception to celebrate the winners and finalists of the 2025 Richards Family Prize and Arnold Newman Prize, whose works are on view from December 5, 2025 to January 4, 2026.

Join us in person at the museum to celebrate artists Izabella Demavlys, C. Rose Smith, Debmalya Choudhuri, and Nzingah Oyo.

Artist Reception: Gathering Place | A Family Album

The Griffin Museum is pleased to host a reception celebrating the artists featured in the exhibition Gathering Place | A Family Album. Join us in person at Jenks Center to celebrate the talented artists!

On view at the Jenks Center from October 1 to January 3, 2026, the exhibition brings together photographic works that celebrate the intimate spaces and shared traditions that define family--chosen or inherited--through still-lifes, portraits, domestic scenes, or elsewhere.

December Members' Mingle - Winter Solstice Edition!

It's our biggest month of the year for our members! It's time for Winter Solstice! We are so excited to welcome you all to a special members event before the public extravaganza.

This evening is all about you, our members, whose passion and support make everything we do possible. Our Members Mingle is about connecting with fellow photography enthusiasts, sharing your inspiration, and participating in the vibrant energy that makes the Griffin Museum such a special place. Founders Day! Celebrate the Griffin

On Saturday, September  13, the Griffin Museum invites you to celebrate our museum and Arthur  Griffin's birthday and legacy with a vibrant, immersive day of photography and community. Begin at 9 AM with a lively Coffee & Conversation hosted by Executive Director Crista  Dix. From 11 AM to 4 PM, have a portrait made at the Portrait Studio (prints courtesy of Digital Silver Imaging) and peruse the PhotoBook Fair, featuring independent publishers, artists' books, and Griffin Museum Press offerings. Frank Siteman | Artist Reception @ The Jenks

Join us for a celebration of Frank Siteman's exhibition at the Jenks center as part of our summer public art project, Vision(ary). Frank Siteman is a resident and chronicler of life in Winchester. His images soar above the streets to capture the light, movement and changes of the town. We are so grateful to partner with the Jenks Center of Winchester to bring this exhibition to the community.

The Griffin will celebrate it members in NYC in our first of many meetups across the country in 2026!
