Come on down and join us for the annual En Ka Fair! Held in downtown Winchester/the Jenks Center parking lot.

Rides, fair food, the book tent, bake sale, jewelry, famous lobster rolls and more - all raising funds for En Ka Society.

2025 Summer Library Crawl

What's a Library Crawl? Think of it as a literary road trip! Travel from library to library, meet the friendly staff, and discover all the awesome things each one has to offer. The Challenge: At each library, snap a selfie with a designated item - it's like a 21st-century scavenger hunt! Then, post your pics and tag the libraries using #mlncrawl2025 to show off your journey.

Annual Halloween Bash hosted by Family Action Network and Winchester Recreation

FAN and Winchester Recreation Department are hosting our annual Halloween Bash! Dress up your kids in their best costumes and join us for trick-or-treating the shops in Winchester Center followed by an outdoor party with Trunk or Treating fun, music, games, and arts & crafts.

Saturday October 18
10:00-11:30 Downtown Trick-or-Treat at Winchester Center, free to the public
10:30-12:30 Halloween Bash Trunk-or-Treat at Jenks Center/Town Hall Parking Lot, free for FAN families and $10 for non-member families

Come whenever is convenient for your family and bring a Halloween bag/pumpkin to collect

Board Game Bonanza

Join us to learn a new board game or play an old favorite. Simply drop in and librarians will be available to set up a group of players and teach the rules if needed. Games that will be available include: Dragonwood, KIngdomino, and Machi Koro, plus more! For kids in 3rd to 5th grade, no registration required.

Book Explorers: Cardboard Kingdom

In The Cardboard Kingdom by Chad Sell, a group of neighborhood kids create worlds and characters in which they build relationships, problem-solve, and explore their identities. At this program, we will discuss The Cardboard Kingdom and then do some creating of our own with various materials including cardboard and LEGOs.
