This event is for rising 6th-12th grade students only. Any LEGO fans out there? Help build our new set - the Milky Way. This set has over 3000 pieces that come together to create a textured, dimensional depiction of the Milky Way. This set is built in five separate panels so each participant can work on their own.

Teen Taste Test: Tongue-Twisting Mberry

This event is for students in grades 6-12. No adults, please. The miracle berry is a fruit that changes how your tongue perceives flavors. Everybody will try an mberry candy and sample a variety of sweet and sour food to see how the flavor changes. We think you will be very surprised!This program is supported by the Friends of the Winchester Public Library.

Teen Tech Time: Learn Onshape

This event is for students in grades 6-12. No adults, please.Teens, are you interested in learning how to design objects to be 3D printed? Join WHS student Isaac as he gives you an introduction to Onshape, a free, cloud-based design platform. In this session you'll learn to design your own project which can then be 3D printed in the library.

VIRTUAL: Successfully Navigating College Admissions This Fall

We are offering this Zoom presentation to help families of high school juniors, sophomores and freshmen better understand the college admissions process and how to successfully navigate the changing landscape. We will discuss current college admissions trends, admissions strategies, the changing test-optional environment, the importance of researching and visiting colleges to find schools that can be a good fit, a timeline and other action steps to make this fall productive and help reduce the stress around the college admissions process.
