Linocut Printmaking

Learn the basics of linocut printmaking. The class will cover techniques in carving linoleum, composition, ink mixing, and printing. At their own pace, students will learn how to create a design and carve it in linoleum using carving tools. Students will learn how to ink and print their linoleum blocks by hand.

Marble Mazes

Try out some different marble mazes for inspiration. Assemble one of your own with recycled materials and take it home to challenge your friends (and yourself!). For kids rising into grades 1st-3rd, registration is required. Questions? Call (781) 721-7171 x326, email winchild@minlib.

Matt Heaton and The Outside Toys

Kids age 6 and under bring a picnic dinner (there might even be an ice cream truck nearby. .. ) and join us on the library lawn to rock along with Matt Heaton and his band The Outside Toys!!! Meet the Animals of the Rainforest

Join Joy from Joys of Nature and learn about rainforest animals around the world. A wet, leafy habitat requires animals have special adaptations to survive. How do they find food and avoid predators in the forest? Do they climb? Do they change color? How do some species deal with extreme temperatures and other challenges? Come find out as you meet some rainforest animals up close, and learn more about about their wild relatives.

Minecraft Selfies
